Olive Shoppe is an online boutique stocking select women’s vintage clothing plus new apparel from emerging and out-of-the-ordinary independent designers.  We are always looking out for progressive and off-kilter new talent.  If you are a designer and interested in selling with us, drop us an email! Originally from California, we are now mobile and traveling nomadicaly; currently we are in Shanghai.  Through our travels, we also search for local design talent and native vintage stock to offer them to a broader audience.  

ABOUT OUR VINTAGE

We only stock vintage with distinct and modern appeal, straying away from cookie-cutter secondhand pieces.  Quality is important,but some ‘flawed’ pieces will still make it to the store if we feel it is special enough and its uniqueness surpasses notable flaws.   Oftentimes a little wear even adds character to secondhand pieces.  Signs of wear may include, but not limited to: discoloration, piling, loose stitching/seams, etc.  Any flaws will be noted in the item description; however, please still keep in mind the 20+ age factor. 

Vintage items are one of a kind with only one available for each style.  Once sold out, it is gone forever!

We accept all major credit cards and Paypal.  You do not need to a Paypal account to make a purchase.  

PRIVACY

Any information provided by you to Olive Shoppe is kept secure and private, and we will never sell or trade any of your personal info.  We do not have access to your credit card information at any time.  All payments are transmitted and securely made through Paypal. 

RETURNS

Our apologies, but currently no returns/refunds are accepted.  All sales are final.

SHIPPING + CUSTOMS

Your purchase will be shipped out within 2-3 business days from date of purchase, excluding weekends and holidays.  We ship worldwide with the following two methods:  

1) Airmail (purchase must weigh less than 0.5kg/1.1lb). Airmail is $9.99 flat rate worldwide, and comes with limited online tracking.  Tracking only shows whether an item has been delivered or not, and does not provide detailed status reports.   Airmail usually takes anywhere from 14-20 days. 

2) Express Mail Service (EMS). EMS is only $20 worldwide with online tracking for faster and safer delivery. EMS delivery usually takes 4-7 days. 

**PURCHASE OVER $250 AND RECEIVE FREE EXPRESS SHIPPING**

Customs fees, taxes and any additional charges levied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer.  Please contact your customs office if you have any uncertainties about whether or not you will be charged before making a purchase.

Parcels refused to be picked up due to customs charges or any other reason will be shipped back to sender, and the expenses incurred by us will be deducted from your refund.  This includes original shipping cost*, any customs charges and taxes on the package, and the cost of shipping the item back to Olive Shoppe.  In addition, there is a 10% restocking fee on all items returned to us.

*Please note that our shipping prices are heavily discounted and if the above occurs, we will deduct the actual shipping price, and not the shipping price you paid.  This applies to packages that were eligible for free shipping as well.      

e.g.: You paid $20 flat rate shipping when in actuality it cost us $35 to ship. We will therefore deduct $35 from your refund.   

SIZING  + MEASUREMENTS

Garments are measured from the front, seam-to-seam, lying flat.  Chest, waist, and hips are measured straight across, and doubled for circumference. Please compare measurements to a similar item that you own for an idea of fit.

For reference, model is 5’6” 32-25-33 and wears a XS or US size 2.   Garments larger than the model’s size are not pinned back to fit, unless noted in the description.
